There’s a reason tennis is called a lifelong sport.
You can start as a kid, pick it up as an adult, return after years away, or keep growing your game well into later chapters of life. But one of the hardest parts of tennis is knowing how to keep moving forward.
Maybe you want to learn the basics. Maybe you’re tired of making the same mistakes. Maybe you want more confidence in match play. Or maybe you’re ready for a faster pace, stronger competition, and more focused coaching.
That’s where BTTC tennis clinics come in.
Our Fall 2026 through Spring 2027 tennis clinics open for registration on Monday, June 15, and this year’s lineup has been refreshed to make it easier to find the right fit and keep progressing.
We offer clinics for all ages and skill levels, from players as young as 5 years old to adults who are brand new, returning to the game, or looking for higher-level competition.
For our Juniors, we utilize the Red/Orange/Greem ball progression to teach 5-11 years olds the basics: from body control and coordination to the foundation of all the tennis strokes. BTTC clinics further have programs for Middle School through High School for all levels—the absolute beginner to the competitive varsity player.
At each level, we use age/skill appropriate court size, equipment and teaching methods. Focused on more than just stroke production, our junior programs help young athletes build confidence, focus, resilience, friendships, and a love for the game.
For adults, clinics are one of the best ways to build and level-up your game.
Beginners learn the fundamentals: strokes, serving, court movement, scoring, and confidence. Intermediate players build consistency, placement, strategy, and smarter decision-making. Advanced players sharpen speed, accuracy, fitness, doubles strategy, and competitive play.
And this year, we’re not just refreshing clinic descriptions. We’re continuing to invest in the teaching, structure, and long-term direction of tennis at BTTC.
Owner and Tennis Director Doug Robertson recently completed RSPA professional certification as part of his commitment to strengthening the program from the inside out. That means more support for our coaching team, clearer expectations across clinic levels, and a renewed focus on helping every player — from beginner to advanced — find the right challenge.

Tennis clinics should never feel like “just drills.” They are structured coaching environments where players understand their game better, improve their movement, build confidence, and stay connected to the sport.
They’re also fun! Every class involved cooperative and competitive games that are an absolute blast.
Tennis gives both juniors and adults something many fitness routines don’t: a mix of movement, focus, challenge, and connection. You’re building coordination, balance, stamina, reaction time, and mental strategy — often while laughing between points. It’s exercise, but it doesn’t feel like something you’re just trying to get through. It feels like play with purpose.
Not sure where you or your child fits? We can help.
Intermediate and Advanced clinics require placement approval from a BTTC coach, and new players can schedule a 30-minute evaluation lesson to find the best starting point.
Registration opens to BTTC Members on Monday, June 15 for Fall 2026 through Spring 2027 clinics.
*Opens to all July 1*
And if you’re ready to get on court sooner, it’s not too late to sign up for summer clinics, too.
Whether you’re brand new, coming back, or ready to take the next step, there’s a place for you on the courts at BTTC!
