BTTC will be closed August 17–30, 2026 for court resurfacing, club updates, deep cleaning, and maintenance.
 
During this closure, all five tennis courts are being resurfaced, several backdrops are being replaced, and a few problem areas are being repaired. The refreshed courts will help provide a more consistent playing surface and improved overall experience when you return.
 
We’ll be resurfacing all five courts with Plexipave, the same trusted acrylic court surface system currently used at BTTC. Plexipave is designed to create a consistent playing surface with reliable ball bounce, steady footing, and a balanced medium pace. Because our current courts have naturally worn down over time, they have become a bit faster in recent years. Once resurfaced, play may feel slightly slower at first, but that is part of restoring the courts to a more even, predictable, and comfortable playing experience for players of all levels.
 
We are also using this time for our annual Club Scrub, which includes deep cleaning and maintenance throughout the fitness areas, equipment, locker rooms, lobby, and shared spaces. This yearly work helps us care for the facility and keep BTTC clean, welcoming, and well-maintained for our members.
 
While the Club is closed, we still want to help our community stay active and connected. We are offering outdoor small-group fitness training and local walks during the closure.

We understand that a temporary closure impacts your routine, and we appreciate your patience while this important work is completed. Many clubs charge annual maintenance fees; BTTC does not. Because this closure allows us to complete major court improvements, annual deep cleaning, and facility maintenance, refunds are not being issued for these two weeks.
